1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using API Center ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

API Center provides a RESTful API service that allows users to access Indian pincode–related data, including location details, postal offices, and related geographical information.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Account Registration

To access the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Safeguarding your API keys
• All activity performed using your account or API keys

You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. API Keys & Security

• API keys are unique identifiers issued to your account
• API keys must not be shared, sold, or exposed publicly
• API keys must not be embedded in client-side or public code

Any API usage performed using your API key will be considered authorized by you. API Center is not responsible for misuse caused by leaked or compromised API keys.

5. API Usage, Rate Limits & Fair Use

Your use of the API is subject to limits based on your selected subscription plan, including:

• Daily request limits
• Monthly request limits
• Concurrent request restrictions

Attempts to:

• Bypass rate limits
• Scrape data
• Perform abusive, automated, or excessive requests

may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

6. Subscription Plans & Billing

API Center offers multiple subscription plans including FREE, STARTER, GROWTH, and SCALE.

• Paid plans require full payment in advance
• Prices are displayed in INR and are exclusive of applicable taxes
• Subscription validity is 30 days from the date of purchase
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew
• Upon expiry, your account will automatically revert to the FREE plan

7. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All payments are non-refundable.

We do not provide refunds or credits for:

• Partial subscription periods
• Unused API requests
• Plan downgrades or cancellations

If a payment is deducted but the subscription is not activated due to a technical issue, you must contact support within 7 days of payment for resolution.

8. Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay.

• API Center does not store your card or UPI details
• We are not responsible for payment failures caused by banks, gateways, or network issues

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service:

• For any illegal or unlawful activity
• To distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• To gain unauthorized access to systems or data
• To reverse engineer or resell API responses
• To harass, abuse, or harm others

Violation may result in immediate termination of access.

10. Data Accuracy & Availability

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee:

• Completeness or correctness of pincode data
• Continuous availability or uptime of the Service

The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, APIs, data structures, and software associated with API Center are the intellectual property of API Center.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or exploit any part of the Service without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, API Center shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business
• Unauthorized API usage caused by leaked credentials

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the Service.

13. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the API
• You engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease immediately.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

• Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
• Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
